WELCOME!

Welcome, we are so glad you are here! First things first — HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY to all the mom’s! We hope you feel loved today! This experience is going to be a special time together we pray God’s presence with you as you engage in worship and God’s word. ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. GROCERIES DRIVE - THIS WEEK!
    We want to be a church who love our neighbors and our city in a great way, so we are excited to help meet a basic need of some of the homeless and needy in our community by helping donate groceries to a nearby food pantry called the Northeast Resource Center (located just east of the church on 23rd Street). To serve with us you can donate non-perishable groceries, hamburger meat, and chicken. Please drop off at the church between 9-4pm Monday or Tuesday (May 11 or 12th). To learn more about this effort Watch the video on YouTube we made earlier this week sharing more about it. Thanks for serving with us! #bringinglifetoourcity

REFLECT DEEPER WITH SOME KEY THOUGHTS FROM THE MESSAGE

1. THE BLESSINGS FROM EPHESIANS 1:3-14.

Which blessings are especially meaningful to you today (listed below)? Clearly they are all incredible, but are there any particular spiritual blessings that encourage or strengthen you today? Why?

  • GOD LOVES YOU - Do you need to be reminded of his love?

  • GOD CHOSE YOU - God not only wants you…he chooses you!

  • GOD ADOPTED YOU - From poverty to the palace.

  • GOD POURS OUT HIS GRACE ON YOU - You are drenched in his grace!

  • GOD PURCHASED YOUR FREEDOM - Freedom isn’t free…Jesus paid that price.

  • GOD FORGIVES YOU - His forgiveness is a blessing that’s new every morning.

  • GOD SHOWERS YOU WITH KINDNESS - Don’t you know He is nothing, but kind!

  • GOD GIVS YOU ALL WISDOM AND UNDERSTANDING OF HIS PLAN - Don’t confuse the chaos of the world with the clarity of God’s word.

  • GOD IS GIVING YOU AN INHERITANCE - He says to you, “Everything I have is yours!”

  • GOD’S SPIRIT IS YOUR GUARANTEE - Don’t doubt it - His Spirit is with you!

  • GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH EVERY SPIRITUAL BLESSING.

God is good and his blessing never stops coming!

2. KEY THOUGHTS & REFLECTION FROM THE NUMBERS PASSGE.

NUMBERS 6
22 The Lord said to Moses, 23 “Tell Aaron and his sons, ‘This is how you are to bless the Israelites. Say to them: 24 “‘“The Lord bless you and keep you; 25 the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; 26 the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”’27 “So they will put my name on the Israelites, and I will bless them.”

  • The word YOU is said 6 times. How does the emphasis of that word encourage you?

  • The priests prayed God’s blessing over the people EVERY morning. How does the significance of his blessing “every day” speak to you?

  • The people of God (Israelites) would have memorized this passage and many devout people would have memorized the entire Torah! How does their dedication to cherish the word of God (as sweeter than honey) challenge and encourage you? Do you cherish the word of God?
